Stuart completed his legal training whilst working for DP Roberts Hughes & Denye gravitating toward litigation work. Following qualifying as a Solicitor in 2005 he then spent the next 5 years as part of a team of 10 lawyers representing the interests of the Prison Officers Association Union members nationwide at LLW, then Thompsons.
Latterly, Stuart headed up the Commercial and Civil Litigation team at Jackson Lees; at Partner then Director level, dealing with a diverse range of serious injury claims, high profile abuse claims, contract disputes, contentious probate, land disputes and debt recovery matters.
The role revealed strong presentation, networking and BD qualities which Stuart now takes forward as he joins Glenville Walker as Legal Director.
In his spare time, Stuart enjoys social time with friends and family, running, property development and playing pool. More recently, Stuart rocked his public speaking and presentation skills up a level by forming a tribute to 1960s band, The Doors. With his band, Stuart has performed across the UK and internationally at venues from pubs, to clubs – larger auditoriums and rock festivals.
A visible character, legal knowledge, approachable personable nature and prolific networker, Stuart is very pleased to join the vibrant, agile expert team at Glenville Walker to help businesses with their needs and challenges.
