Jacob joined Glenville Walker in December 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor and has since qualified as a solicitor within the corporate department.
Prior to joining Glenville Walker, Jacob successfully achieved an undergraduate first-class degree in Law at Aston University, a Master’s in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Manchester, and an LPC at the University of Law, Liverpool.
Following his studies, Jacob worked for another SME firm where he climbed through the ranks from paralegal to trainee solicitor. His experience extends to reviewing and negotiating hundreds of documents that support merger and acquisition transactions, including non-disclosure agreements, non-reliance letters, reliance letters, clean team agreements, and engagement terms. He has also reviewed and negotiated commercial contracts outlining terms for sponsorship, corporate rates, payroll, and facilities management services, as well as for engaging consultants, recruiters, and sub-contractors, along with booking forms, IT contracts, and statements of work.
Jacob was attracted to Glenville Walker’s first-class reputation as specialist business lawyers. He was particularly drawn to the dynamic business model and excited about the opportunity to work within it. This model allows Jacob to collaborate with clients throughout the entire life cycle of their matters.
Jacob’s previous experience has involved working very closely with businesses to develop intricate knowledge of clients’ businesses and stakeholders. He aims to use that knowledge to provide solutions for Glenville Walker’s clients that are practical, commercial, and business-friendly.
You will often find Jacob at an Everton match, as he is a huge supporter of the club. If not there, you’ll find him in the kitchen baking delicious, sweet treats.
