Before joining the firm, he spent over 30 years in corporate and commercial banking, mainly in Liverpool. He left banking at the end of 2009, primarily because he was unhappy with how banks were treating their customers. Traditionally trained and professionally qualified, Alistair’s expertise lies firmly in the SME arena.
Self-employment beckoned, and he pursued various interests, including Private Investigator, Reclamation Yard, Commercial Property Investor, and Training Facility provider. Consequently, Alistair understands, empathises with, and has practical experience of the issues facing business owners.
Alistair’s banking knowledge and skills have been sought by several clients of the firm to assist in resolving banking disputes, often achieving positive outcomes –gamekeeper turned poacher?
In the Liverpool community, he is well known for his loud shirts, jackets, and scarves. Outside of work, Alistair enjoys outdoor activities, particularly if a pair of skis are involved, is interested in diet and its effects on wellbeing, and has been a Manchester City supporter since childhood.
