Mark was engaged by a NW based Financial Services business to assist it in its acquisition of an historic loan portfolio which the underwriter no longer considered core.
A Director of the business said, “We had unsuccessfully tried to find support to acquire our funder’s position when I was introduced to Mark who took the time to understand the complex dynamics of the situation. Mark proposed two funders to us, both of whom made acceptable offers. Mark then project managed our side of the transaction through to completion and guided us at every step along the way.”
Mark said, “once understood, the deal metrics were clearly very favourable but required a highly commercial funder. Via my extensive network, I immediately knew at least two funders who would be attracted to the deal and this turned out to be the case. In the end, this has worked out as a very favourable outcome for all concerned.”
